Right now ANY prediction has merit because we still have almost no testing. You know who and everybody under him blew it. We're effed big time. The only hope is widescale testing gets going in the next few weeks, and they announce, hold it, it's going down now. Otherwise, buckle up. I truly cannot see the country handling a month long let alone 2 or 3 or 4 month long mass quarantine. People will lose their minds, not to mention their livelihoods.

Jenna and I couldn't wait for spring/summer so we could have Hoboken/Jersey City weekends...

This fucking sucks.

Governor newsom just instructed all bars, wineries, breweries and clubs to shut down. Also beyond the no gatherings of 250+ people, restaurant capacity is being cut in half.

At this point I’m just waiting to be told to work remote full time

Well the CDC is now recommending all gatherings above 50 people be canceled everywhere in the United States for the next 8 weeks. That is not an order, but it would put the kibosh on any con or signing until Mother's Day.

We've been told to work from home "if you can." I WFH all of last week and likely will this week (at the very least). This is going to be interesting because D+ is launching in Europe on the 24th.

Trump now is told gatherings of 10 people is too many! May remain a problem through July or August! He sounds like the contractors in The Money Pit with ironically Tom Hanks.

Breaking: @WWE announces WrestleMania 36 will not be held in Tampa Bay.

Instead, it will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 with only essential personnel present.

The one thing I’m somewhat pleased about is since the ICW show in Tampa with Kenta Kobashi is cancelled, they’ll probably bring him into an ICW show around here hopefully.

At this point you have to think any con scheduled for August or sooner is most likely not going to happen.

well here in yosemite national park, we are closing down all our restaurants and lodging for the next two weeks. the park isn't closed , but there limited guest services in the area. all my local events for the next month also canceled. just have to sit at home and watch t.v. & movies for 2 weeks! 😴

there a large support on twitter right now for this whole wrestlecon cancalation with marriott, hope they can work something out. SUPPORT WRESTLECON

Well I want to see the testing numbers, if we ever get those up in some fashion. Maybe in a week to 10 days, we can see some data that would finally give an indication on the length of this.

Obviously I can't be sure, nobody is, but I truly don't think ANY conventions will take place in 2020, including the fall. I just can't see it being 100% gone to the point cities will allow gatherings like this.

Couldn’t agree more. There will be no access to celebs at your usual meeting spots either.

After this, why would any of them risk it ?

This hobby is pretty much over for a long time.

I think higher-end celebrities will be inaccessible. I could see small-time conventions opening up during the fall because a lot of these "celebrities" could use the money

Convention reset back to the early 2000s. No huge names, just obscure ones with potentially fewer crowds? Sign me up.
