Also Legends uses a flea bag hotel. Sorry but if I'm a former star, I stay far away from the wrestling shows. The comic cons will put you up in nice hotels, and provide good meals and whatnot.

Rey isn't 20k. Basically just sounds like trish gets paid more for other cons and not affordable for wrestling only.

I wouldn't say the guys u mentioned died at a rapid pace. Piper did plenty of cons regularly and always drew

Me and Lanza were just discussing how you newer convention goers like icw really missed out on the glory days of wrestling conventions. Every year, you had 2 legends, 2 signamanias, 2 k and s shows, Greg price show, Blaustein, I’m probably missing a few. From roughly like 2006-2012 , I think Martel appeared at least 4 times, along with probably every name you can imagine.
I know, right? Now you have 2 big events, 2 lotr, that's about it. And wrestlecon whereever WM is.

Some never made modern day cons. Like the Harris bros. Glad I went to that one k&s show they did.

Also, I agree that newer stars do not have the longevity of the older ones. Enzo for instance just got released. He will do well at cons and indy shows for the next year (or two at the most). Nevermind Piper. In years to come will he be remembered as (say) Greg Valentine is today? I think not.

I don't get the big deal about the hotel. I'm going to Legends of the Ring, I don't care about the restaurant. I don't care how "nice" the hotel is (I always thought it was fine). I care that I can go into rooms with a roof and get any autos, photos, or combos that I need. Oh, and free and easy parking.

And sometimes forced to come in disguise?
