They don't have to keep scanning per se. The point would be they'd cap the # printed at some # that would represent capacity, as I said before. After which, you cannot get one.

If that's all they're doing, why even make the bands scannable? Just use the same paper bands they always have, and as you say JUST print the capacity number of bands.

If they don't scan, or just do token scanning, than the whole emphasis on "scanning bands" is just an excuse to add an extra charge to admission.

I was going to say the same thing, but AJLe beat me to it. Seems like scanning is a waste for them.

Also, I can't imagine them changing the venue as the hotel must give them a sweet deal.

Cyphers back from 5th retirement! Loomis is going to CT horror con in Sept.

Loomis never comes to the northeast and has a bad cancellation record, so I'd love to have a second local second option on her. It's amazing that she's semi-regular on the con circuit, and I've never once been at the same show as her.

Once I get her and Graham, my Halloween poster is (virtually) completed. The only other main characters are either deceased (Pleasance), been MIA for years (Sandy Johnson), or too small of a character to really worry about too much, so if I get those two, it's pretty much done.

Closest I came was that Texas Frightmare show a couple of years ago, when my flight was delayed getting into Dallas. If my flight had landed on Saturday as scheduled, I would have gotten her, but she went home early and never came down to sign on Sunday when I was there.
