Watched some Netflix Sci-Fi exclusives....

Anon starring Clive Owen and Amanda Seyfried.....great concept but the movie was boring as all hell.

Mute starring Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Rudd, and Justin Theroux, and directed by Duncan Jones....this was a spiritual successor of Jones to Moon. Got bad reviews but after a slow start it's really savage but interesting. Rudd and Theroux are incredible as a couple of stone sickos.

Also on cable....

Finally saw Baby Driver in full. The action, stunts, and soundtrack as as good as any Edgar Wright movie. The plot and characters are too simple though, and in the end, idk, not as cool as his Pegg movies. Entertaining but not even close to the hilarious hype this got.

Saw three billboards outside ebbing, mizzou, fantastic film. Also saw murder on the orient express, which was incomprehensible and just plain awful.

Saw The Meg, if my girl didn't suggest it I probably would have never bothered but it was fun in an over the top kinda way and we both enjoyed it.

Just got home from a Ghostbuster double feature in a theater. Haven't seen GB2 in a movie theater since it came out. Love both

Saw the He-Man documentary on Netflix, Power of Grayskull. They hit the toy creation, the Filmation series, the movie, and the later iterations. Really well done.

Finally torrented and watched Solo: A Star Wars story.

Spoilers

All the hits the Millennium Falcon takes and still keeps ticking, seems exaggerated. This also marks the movie debit of half machine Darth Maul, more instances of Disney going out of their way to make sure all the valid Star Wars materials maintains continuity.

Saw Bohemian Rhapsody. Acting was good & music was phenomenal. Don't know much about the history of Queen, but timeline seemed a bit weird too me.

Saw The Girl in the Spider's Web. It's okay, decent for the weird spy drama genre. Don't pay for.

Saw The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, the Netflix Coen Bros. anthology entry. Ehhhhhh, parts of it were very cool, but overall WTF??? Was not very enjoyable.
