This past January, I went down to Texas for the Royal Rumble, and what would likely turn out to be my only 2020 celebrity meet - former actor (and current church pastor) William Hubbard Knight, who starred in the 90's cult classic B-movie "Action USA". My report can be found here:

So fast forward to last week, and apparently somebody had posted my picture with Mr. Knight on the social media of Action USA co-star Gregory Scott Cummins, who had heard a (false) rumor that Mr. Knight had passed away in a plane crash sometime in the 90's. Cummins even talks about missing his (not really) deceased co-star in the commentary track on the newly released Blu Ray.
So the official Action USA twitter account (yes, that's a thing) reaches out to me for info on Mr. Hubbard:
Of course, I DM them contact info for Mr. Knight, and they pass it along to Mr. Cummins, and apparently the long-lost co stars are now back in contact with each other:
It's crazy that my fan photo (probably one of the only fan photos Mr. Knight has ever been asked for, lol) would debunk a false death rumor!

Wow, that's another unique, unexpected AJLe contribution right there! I think your reward should be that Cummins swings by NJ so we can get him!

Totally amazing! I love reading your private meet and greet reports as I love reading any report of that kind. Those stand out so much to me as I did a few similar coming up on 10 years now that wound up with long lasting friendships.
It's good that the co-worker was so interested in his old friend. Without checking, I wonder if Pastor Knight even has an IMDB or Wikipedia that would indicate he was alive, like why would Gregory not know? But I guess things like that happen.
Again, totally cool. I'm glad you were able to see this happen.
