I found it to be underwhelming, poor man's Katy Perry. Although I expected more politics.

Typically, yes. For example, women will say "I can't even", when something happens. I know a man or two who use that term and I laugh internally, but it's something I usually only hear from women. I may be one of the only people who pays attention to stuff like this.

Slay, fierce, yas, goals, queen, etc. I only know these terms because I get a kick out of the stupid words the 20 something females I know use. Generations past used "as if" and terms like that. But let's not keep going off topic
