Re: ThrowBack Pics

My very first celebrity photo, and the one that gave me the bug: King Kong Bundy. He was a local guy, and his brothers were educators in my school system. https://i.ibb.co/JdN2Rvh/PSFix-20200323-232923.jpg This was a neat duo to get at an indie show. https://i.ibb.co/8d1tgPd/PSX-20200324-142827.jpg

Convention reset back to the early 2000s. No huge names, just obscure ones with potentially fewer crowds? Sign me up.

Re: Locking myself in a Compound

Love Anthony but I don’t subscribe to Compound Media. I’ve watched plenty of clips and highlights from his show.. esp when guys like Norton are on. How was the turnout ? I recall he had a book signing last year in NYC and I believe like 2 fans literally showed up. The place was sold out, and he kep...

Locking myself in a Compound

Every single thing I was planning on attending until May got canceled, except for a comedy show last night! I've been a subscriber to Compound Media since the day it went on sale 6 years ago. It features Anthony Cumia, formerly of Opie & Anthony. Last night in Philly, Anthony brought along some of t...

Luckily, I only have to drive 15 to 20 minutes for this one. Brad Dourif and Richard Brake are now the last ones left on my list.

Awesome stuff!! Looks like you had a fun night
Always, whenever Devin is involved. That night was super special, because not only did Jed Simon from SYL join him for a song, Devin dedicated a Zappa cover to my dad. Great night

Re: An evening with a Strapping Young Lad

Very cool. Wish I went to this show. A few years ago, at the Electric Factory - A joined tour/one off show with Mastodon/Opeth/Eagles of Death Metal/Devin and one other band I can't remember happened. Devin was 2nd band on. We missed the first 2 bands because of long line to get in. I'll see him so...

An evening with a Strapping Young Lad

Growing up, one of my favorite musicians had been Devin Townsend. He sang on Steve Vai's 'Sex & Religion' album before forming his extreme metal outfit Strapping Young Lad and more atmospheric metal project, Devin Townsend Band which eventually turned into Devin Townsend Project and is now just Devi...
