Re: Greg Price sends disparaging tweet about Speak Out movement, feels the wrath of Lance Storm

That is awesome and says a lot about the site that a former talent wound up coming on. I would also enjoy hearing more. How long did she last? I seem to remember her being on another message board, strictly wrestling not autographs, but she was banned for some reason I believe over politics.

Re: Pre-Social Media Celebrity Hunting Photos

See if this link comes up, it's a photo of a boy with Earthquake. Most likely a late 90s or early 2000s indy appearance. He sure lost a lot of weight after his WCW run and before Golga. It's such a shame he died so young. I heard he was a great family man and fan friendly. He also posted on the wres...

Re: Thoughts on sending TTM requests to home addresses?

How was she being disrespectful or demeaning? I don’t blame any celeb for not wanting fans to know where they live and to send them autograph requests or anything else. If you see someone in person , I can understand you thinking they should be nice and sign autos as that is the price of fame. But ...

Re: Thoughts on sending TTM requests to home addresses?

I'm thinking it is probably his wife who created the message as she's most likely the one "scared" or not wanting wrestling crossing over into their personal life. Seems like a social media version of Mark Hamill's wife. I'll never agree with anyone who takes to social media to scold fans, supporter...

Re: UPCOMING MOVIES 2021

It amazes me all the movies are sequels or franchises, like are there any movies being made for the theaters anymore that aren't based off of something that has already been done? Are these actors and stories that great that nothing else is popular enough or are there just so few talented actors and...

Re: RICHARD HERD PASSES AWAY at 87

He had some great performances. I think up until Seinfeld he was probably one of those guys who was in so many things but you only knew his face, not his name. I passed by him in the hall at a Chiller show many years ago and that was a cool experience for me. I'm not sure why I didn't go to his tabl...

Re: Thoughts on sending TTM requests to home addresses?

I sent ttm requests for about 7 years and maybe another year or two on and off and it's usually the lower tier "celebrities" who object to getting mail at the home address. I've never heard of this lady personally. For some without an agency address, the home is the only way to go. If she doesn't wa...

Re: Most interesting M&G Experience

Cool idea for a thread. I never really did official meet and greets but based on how the experience was told to my grandfather I will call this a "meet and greet." In the 1990s my grandfather did business with King's Dominion theme park so pretty much anything he wanted he could get. Same with Hersh...

Re: DON SHULA NFL GREAT dies at 90

My grandfather was a huge fan. I met Don Shula two times and he was pretty personable. He would sign one item per person through the mail until the last few years so I think he might have been sick for a while and we just never heard about it. I know his players were always very protective of him.

Re: Pre-Social Media Celebrity Hunting Photos

That Andre photo is incredible. I guess that was post filming since Andre didn't have the thick hair. What really makes the photo interesting is that Fred had no scenes with any of the main actors in the "book" scene. And according to a 2012 Yahoo interview I just read Andre was one of the few actor...

Re: TOM LESTER GREEN ACRES PASSED AWAY at 81

I looked him up not too long ago thinking he had already passed. Sorry to hear he has passed now. I saw someone on facebook posted in the last few days a picture of Tom, in full Eb gear along with Kay Kutter. The photo was probably from the 1990s and it looked awesome. Tom would reply to fan mail wi...

Re: Blackjack Mulligan & NXT November 2012

Great report, as always! Those free smiling Rollins photos are rare these days! I love the Blackjack photo. I always enjoy the special meets like this. I really like that he's wearing the cowboy hat and his old wood paneling that has that old school feel to it like a lot of people from his generatio...

Re: Pre-Social Media Celebrity Hunting Photos

Some amazing stuff. Savage seemed to do the in gimmick thing so much more than others. I don't think you posted the Bret/Anvil one unless I missed it. That's what makes it so strange that he completely shunned the convention scene or even small time one person signings. Maybe he just saw things dif...

Re: RIP Howard Finkel

Tommy Dreamer posted an amazing tribute to Howard. Both guys seem to like total opposites so it's pretty sweet and amazing that they became such good friends. I also think it was great that Howard attending a few of the LOTR shows as the announcer for the Super Ticket while he signed autographs for ...
