Re: XFL - anybody going to watch??

I watched a few games from the original version and remember it being just awful. Another example of WWE not having success outside of wrestling but not learning from the mistake. Vince is almost 80 years old and needs to realize he isn't this "entertainment" promoter he believes himself to be. He i...

Re: ECW Day 2020 - 1/11, Wrestling Universe

I am big Kamala fan but I am going to have to take Dawn's side in this one. What I remember is that Dawn showed proof that she filled out and mailed a check or money order to Kamala but it was returned as Kamala deemed it not enough money. It is truly sad what has happened to the man but he's always...

Re: Night of the Skywalkers-the WrestleCade road trip report

love the hayes photo! what going on with that davey boy jr. jacket, wow? great report The symbols represent his father and then I'm guessing Owen, Bret and Anvil and also Brian Pillman as he wore that 4 symbol during his Loose Canon days. The gold doesn't really fit him but I haven't seen in him ye...

Re: Finally meeting M. Harry Smilac: WinterCon 2019

That is really an amazing story. I think most guys like Dirk might prefer signing an item or hearing a story from a lesser known role than the one they're most famous for. He might have signed 99% of items from A-Team but it's your's that gave him the most happiness. His son was probably thinking th...

Re: Brady Wyatt New Gimmick

It absolutely shocks me that Bray Wyatt is as famous and popular as he is with wrestling fans. I saw no potential in him in the early days of the Wyatt family. I'm happy for IRS though. I'm sure he is so proud. Different times, folks...I really don't see his character working when his father started...

Re: ICW meets Mr. August and the Big Red Machine

I'm loving all these great Kane reports. I'm sure he really appreciates his fans because he probably felt like (1995-1996) he would never be famous with the awful gimmicks he had at the time. Luckily creative was able to make a character that allowed his talent to show. I know I've read a lot of goo...

Re: The Good, the Bad, and the Ziti at Sopranos Con!

This convention got tons of press so hopefully they broke even somehow.. I did a google news search and there was at least one full page of articles over the last day or two. This show was geared towards huge fans rather than autograph collectors who may be big fans. Hopefully everyone enjoyed it.

Re: The Good, the Bad, and the Ziti at Sopranos Con!

Great report! You should have shown the cast your pictures with the main stars. I bet very few other fans there have those photos. I don't think the promoters would care much about losing money since they promoted it as themselves being fans rather than promoters. I'm sure they enjoyed it a lot. I'm...

Re: National lampoon's Rhode Island Comic con

I wound up getting 2 eith him he was a pretty cool dude I asked him if I could do the shield hand pose and asked him to give me a dirty look as I was doing it and I said I can't do that to my boys You got the best photo of him I've ever seen from him. Every photo with him at conventions is him sitt...

Re: National lampoon's Rhode Island Comic con

I posted in the other thread that yours is the only photo with Ambrose I've seen where he is actually in acknowledgement of the fan and actually engaged in the meet. That photo may be even rarer than an Andre!

All your pictures are great. I especially like the Family Matters.

Your photo with Ambrose is THE ONLY ONE I have ever seen where he's actually engaged and in acknowledgment of the fan's existence. LOL, it's like you have a photo even rare than Andre!

Re: ICW's Legend of the Ring 29 + Evolve 136 Report!

Your reports are always an experience for the reader. I don't remember Teddy Long being as heavy as the Ice Train pic shows but I'm curious why you didn't get him to sign it. He's pretty unrecognizable in it. I'm glad you got a more physical interaction with Butch Reed in your photo considering your...

Re: Hunting 70's stars in the Valley

Your story about Loretta Swit is interesting. When she was at Chiller, a lot of folks were talking about how nice she was, but one of my friends told me a story similar to yours. I was wondering if my friend had just misread the situation, but you described the same behavior. I guess we can't blame...

Re: Chris Jericho reports AEW world title belt stolen

As a long term fan (1990s-like 2011) of Chris Jericho I am so sickened by the person he has become over the last few years with his internet trolling, attitude towards fans as a heel trying to blur the lines between real and kayfabe and his 50 year old self acting like a teenager. The crazy thing is...

It's cool Jaleel is so accessible. To me, as a kid, he was a huge star.
What did he write before his name?
