This weekend was the annual meeting of the tribe (aka listeners of Dallas' best all sports station The Ticket) and they put on a 2 day convention with FREE signers. It's filled with local players and a massive headliner and this years headliner was none other than Giants LB and HOF (and top 2-3 all time best players EVER) Lawrence Taylor (I'll get to him in a second). First up was Friday (with Rangers HOF Rusty Greer, Cowboys LB Sean Lee, former Dallas Cowboys FB and all around great guy Daryl Johnston & Rangers pitcher Derek Holland)

Me and the crew headed out to Irving at the Irving Convention center (love this place. SO much more room that the old venue) and get the ticket for Rusty Greer. My mom and my ex wife was able to get my photo opp from opening day last year signed and a Rangers promo for my kiddo. While they were there I got in line for Cowboys ROH (and so fucking wronged by HOF) WR Drew Pearson. While everyone was handing him the same shit (mini's, Hail Mary images, cards) me and my buddy had pics of the ROH ceremony from last season. He loved the pics and we agreed to send them to him (for free HCIT  ) and he signed it beautifully and dated it. Then I was able to get Moose on my Greatest Team ever book. Finally for Friday I got Cowboys LB (and so wronged for the Pro Bowl) Sean Lee. I was able to almost Virgilized him (still need a Penn State 16x20) as I got him to sign a Cowboys 16x20. 

Now onto Sat. The way we used to line up for the headliners was to camp out (longest we ever spent was 27 hours in cold for Reggie Jackson) but since new collectors who don't know how to act (fights etc) they went to a lottery. I had a 16x20 for LT (even though he was a hated Giant I still have respect for him). The rule for this show is no inscriptions or personalized sigs (well LT told them off, he said these are my fans and I'll put whatever I want) so I got him on the photo with HOF and we chatted a sec on WWE (told him I so wanted a Mania image for him) and got a fist bump pic with him (post it when I get it back). The other big name was Cowboys ROH (and 2013 HOFer) Larry Allen. I already had gotten him so much lately I decided to get him on a ball. Then to finish off this report I was able to Virgilize Walt Garrison (Cowboy RB from the Landry era) got him on a pic of us from another signing and the SI cover (well the image used for it)
