OK, I tried to fit as much as I could into a clever topic title, the day was so fruitful, I had more to add, but no space to do it.

Today I decided to dust off my camera and hit up a bunch of spots since I am enjoying summer vacation and had some free time. Considering there were multiple wants in town at multiple spots, all around the city, I figured I would have a busy and fruitful day, but little did I know just how fruitful it would be. I got 20 photo ops, many from big time wants, so I was thrilled with the day. A few of the scores were names I saw others getting and got since you never know, much like OldSchool and Lucas did at FCW. If fans are getting photos adult names, I won't pass.

The first name was Michael Cudlitz, one of the leads in the TV show Southland. I never saw this show, but always meant to check it out given my like of cop shows and Ben McKenzie, the show's star. Michael was very nice, gladly posing, he seemed almost surprised the few fans called him over. I wasn't sure who he was until looking him up, but once I saw he was on the top of the cast of a show on the top of my to watch list, I figured this was already paying off.

The next name was Jessie Metcalf, who seems to be an on the rise name as I knew he was despite not being a fan of any of his current work. He starred in the movie Beyond A Reasonable Doubt with Michael Douglas, John Tucker Must Die, and will be one of the stars of the Dallas reboot. Jesse was very nice and I will never pass up a photo with a young actor on the rise.

The following name was Ving Rhames, who appeared in such things as Pulp Fiction, Dawn Of The Dead, some Mission Impossible movies and some other stuff. I didn't expect to see him, but thought he was a cool name so I got a photo. Ving was doing one thing per person, photo or auto, photo was a no brainer for me.

The next name was Friends alumni, Scream star, resident Cougar in Cougar Town, Courtney Cox! I never expected to get her, given the hectic crowd, but she was amazingly nice. When we asked her to sign, she motioned for us to come towards us, which security stopped us from doing, so then she approached us. About 25 fans, that number had begun to grow sadly as the day went on, rushed her in the street. I fought my way to the front and asked her for a photo, which she happily posed for. My first big name for the day!

The following name was one of my top wants of the day, Conan O'Brien! On the way in Conan assured us he would take care of us, and true to his word, despite the insanity he made his way over and took care of as many people as he could. I got an auto first, rare for me, but it was the way he was operating and he was one of the only names I printed for. I then asked him for a photo, he began to move away, so I said again, "Conan can I please have a photo" and he came back and leaned in so I could blast it. Conan looks insane which is awesome, hair flowing, eyes bugging, I love it.

At this point, the spot was pandemonium. I saw Vince Vaughn, Noah Wyle and other names exit, and I missed them. I knew the spot was blown at this point, it was pandemonium, the talent were visibly uncomfortable around it, so I made the decision to grab a cab and go to the next spot and hopefully beat the names I missed to the spot and try to make up for the failure.

The first name I saw at the next spot, a name I had missed a the earlier spot but beat to this spot was Danny Masterson from That 70s Show! The second name from that show that I got in the past few weeks. Danny was much more accommodating here, gladly posing.

The next name was someone I never expected to see, but marked the fuck out for, Ben McKenzie who played Ryan Atwood on my favorite show as a teenager, and one I still watch now on DVD, The OC in addition to Officer Ben Sherman on Southland. At the other spot I was the only person that wanted him, my chants of BEN! were met with GAY!, making one big Bengay chant, which I figured killed my chances. I had memorized the plate numbers on the SUV, and my plan was to beat him to the second spot, which I managed to do. When I saw him pull up, I pushed my way between two people at the rail and pulled a semi Class by yelling out "Mr McKenzie, quick photo please??" and he came right over to me and I snapped it. He took a few others and went inside. I have legit wanted to meet Ben for years, the Ryan character was my favorite one on The OC, so I was marking out.

The next name was Josh Henderson, another get since there name. I had no clue who he was, but after looking over his resume, he was in a few things I liked like Step Up, The Girl Next Door, and he's also in the new Dallas reboot. Josh was very nice.

The following name was Harold Perrineau who played Walt's father Michael on Lost, one of my all time favorite shows. I ended up passing on two people I wasn't sure about, to insure getting Harold. Harold was very nice, and complimented me on my skilled self blasting.

The next name was an actor I love in tons of comedies like Wedding Crashers, Dodgeball, Old School, Be Cool, and many more, Vince Vaughn! To put it bluntly, Vince isn't cool, and rarely stops for fans. At this spot, I noticed Vince walking up behind us, down the street. Luckily only about 4 of us noticed him signing, and he was doing it while walking which was odd for him, and actually looking at cameras for photos without stopping,so I approached to try for a photo. Well, it didn't turn out amazing, but I got him to look at the camera while walking and managed to get this shot out of it, without the help of a flash sadly. As I said, the photo quality and the blast quality could be better, but he's a TOUGH to get guy I love in tons of shit, so I am OK with it. To make things funnier, Ira tried to get him as I was, and in one of the photos, you see him and Vince both looking at my camera as Ira tries to self blast with his own camera. You will see his when he posts it, but it's the first time I got photos for 2 people without meaning to.

That was the end of this spot, so we moved on to another one. This day and report forge on!

At this next spot, I quickly spot Jonny Lee Miller! I had a chance to get him years ago, but passed and he since went on to appear in Dexter as Jordan Chase and the Dark Shadows movie as Roger Stoddard. He also plays Sherlock Holmes on a new CBS show this fall. This always irked me, so I was thrilled to get the chance to remedy it. Jonny wasn't the nicest, but I got him to look at the camera while walking and luckily I had the flash this time.

The next meet was another of the days top wants for me, Kunal Nayyar who plays Raj on The Big Bang Theory, one of my all time favorite sitcoms. The fans at the spot freaked out when they saw him, mobbing him, so as I fought my way to the front of the pack, Kunal said "don't worry guys, I'll get you all". And true to his word, he did. I now only need Penny and Howard from the original cast. Kunal was awesome and had the exact accent he has on the show.

The following name was Melissa McCarthy, one of the biggest new comedic actresses in Hollywood, known for her show Mike and Molly and the movie Bridesmaids. She was also in Gilmore Girls and The Nines, one of my favorite Ryan Reynods movies. The fans went nuts, security freaked out, her publicist was yelling, but I still got Melissa to pose. She didn't do many photos, but I got one.

The next name was Jensen Ackles, one of the two leads of the hit show Supernatural. I didn't know who he was, but after getting him I was glad to see he was in such a popular show. I'll have to check it out one day. Cool dude, actually thanked me for taking the photo with him.

The next name was Jay Ryan, no not CMShowstopper, but one of the male leads in the new Beauty and The Beast show, and yet another name I wasn't aware of before getting them. Yet again though, my logic paid off as I saw he was in a handful of Terra Nova shows, meaning I would have kicked myself for passing on the convenient photo.

The following name was the always sexy, Wrestlemania victory holding Maria Menounos! I was happy to see her since she was in WM and I always found her real sexy. Her publicist was a bitch, saying she had no time to pose, but I ignored her and so did Maria.

The last name was Vampire Diaries star, a show I have been wanting to watch for months now, and Boone from Lost, Ian Somerhalder. Ian was my top want for tomorrow, but when I saw him randomly today, I took it as a sign to take my 20 photos and 10 hours from today and call it a week. He told one guy he would be out later to take care of us, so not wanting to piss him off I didn't ask. Ian was cool though saying to me "what's going on brother?" on his way in. I noticed him inside eating, so I sort of, in a pretty creepy way, kept tabs on his meal so I knew when to be ready to move and get a jump on security and the other fans/dealers. After about an hour, I see Ian get up, say his goodbyes to his dinner mate and walk away inside the building. Now about 3 mins pass, making me worry if another door existed which I wasn't aware of, but finally he emerges. I go up to him, and he says to stay right next to him, and that he will take the photo with me once he takes care of some of the pretty ladies. I told him no problem, ladies first, and I waited my turn. After 3 women got theirs, Ian said "he's been waiting, it's his turn" and I snapped my blast. The photo turned out great.

            Scott Porter

            Michael Cassidy (The OC)

Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie & HBO's Generation Kill)

Again, you never know what someone becomes later on or stars in that you like. Just like people getting FCW wrestlers, I take what I see

Billy Bob Thornton @ Bookends - Ridgewood, NJ 05/17/2012

MarkedOut.com users latinoheat578 & mishedout sent us this awesome report from a book signing at Bookends! Enjoy!

Mishedout and I headed to Bookends tonight for the Billy Bob Thornton signing. Of course we know Thornton from Slingblade, Bad Santa, Mr Woodcock, Monster's Ball among tons more....

The signing was set to begin at 7pm. We both went knowing full well that this signing would be hectic and crazy... We actually went last night to buy our books for fear of a sellout. Also figured no way was he doing photos or signing xtras.. so didn't bother bringing any items... I did however have my camera for the 'just incase' factor.

We get there 6:30 and I noticed they did not tape off the parking lot like they normally do for a big signing. Thought it was weird so we parked and headed over. I also saw there was line in the back of the store which is usually another sign of a big signing. We actually thought maybe it was cancelled. We go in and go right downstairs... and were greeted by all of 20 fans waiting for for the signing to begin. I was floored!!! Everyone down there was commenting on the poor turnout. Even the bookends staff came down on several occasions to do a headcount ... looking baffled. At exactly 7, Billy Bob comes down with Kinky Friedman, who co-wrote the book, and is a pretty known songwriter and country singer. BY thenI'd say there was only about 45 people. Thornton took a few questions (time filler) and then started the signing. The first words I heard after that were music to my ears 'ok folks, if you would like photo w/Mr Friedman and Mr Thornton, please have your cameras out and ready and our staff member will take it '... If I could break out into a D Bryan YES chant I would have.

Made our way up to him and he was awesome. I had heard he could be a bit of a primadonna so this refreshing. Both guys signed my book and I opted to just get a photo with Billy Bob. I saw in most photos that people stood b/w both guys... F THAT ! I wanted just Billy Bob.

Last night I had the privilege of attending a private show with Esperanza Spalding, winner of the Best New Artist Grammy in 2011. The show was amazing, and I have no doubt that she will be a huge superstar one day. I was absolutely blown away by her talent.

Angelina From The Jersey Shore! 05/12/2012

MarkedOut.com users latinoheat578 & mishedout met Angelina from The Jersey Shore and sent us this awesome report!

            Backstory......

Last December when NYC held their World MMA Expo, they were advertising Angelina from the Jersey SHore as being one of the guests at the event. At the time I didn't understand how she would fit the billing but figured 'why not?' and was going to get a cumbo. I printed up my 8x10, along with everyone else I needed for the weekend. Well turns out of all the people I wanted that weekend, she didn't make it out to the show. Apparently she was stuck in LA and couldn't make it out. Strike 1

Fast Fwd to last month when JAPW returned to Rahway NJ. Again they advertised Angelina would be there to manage a tag team. It also stated she would be available for autos/photos that night. Well, she was at the event, but didn't come out during the pre-show meet/greet. She came out for her tag match, did her part and apparently left right after. there were rumors she bailed due to a dispute over $$ but we'll never know. Strike 2

This afternoon she mentioned she was doing a charity event and AFTERWARDS she would be doing an appearance at a store in a mall in NJ. I contacted the store and they confirmed she would be there. I one again packed up my photo and Michelle and I headed over there. We got there at 5:25 for the 5:30 signing. We noticed when we got there that there was no set-up and no flyers/posters regarding the event. We figured that either we had the wrong location OR she cancelled the signing. We spoke to an employee there who confirmed that she would indeed be coming. Apparently this was not a store signing, but rather she was a friend of the employee and was showing up as a favor to them. Point is, I don't think ANYONE knew about this.

Angelina arrived at about 5:50 (parking/traffic there is atrocious), she walked in and said hello to her friend. The employee was nice enough to quickly point out that we were there to meet her. She walked over to us and said hello, extending her hand and introducing herself to us. Asked our names, where we were from and if we had been waiting long. She apologized like 3 times for being late. She took photos with us; one with each of us and one of us together with her. Unfortunately on the group shot, Michelle blinked but it was ok since we had the individual shots. After the photo I showed her the 8x10 photo which she was more than happy to sign. Again, I don't think anyone knew she was going to be there which benefited us of course. But for a bad a rep as she tends to get or lead on, she was pleasant, sweet and friendly. Made the experience really enjoyable.

            God Bless America Screening 05/12/2012

User evilgenius attended a screening of a new movie and sent us this cool report!

I went to see a special screening of Bobcat Goldthwait's new movie God Bless America starring Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr the other night. The movie was really funny, kind of a weird update of the Michael Douglas film "Falling Down" from the early 90s. Afterwards there was a Q&A with Bobcat and the two leads. Bobcat and I talked for bit about the music in the film and I told Joel I really missed his character on Mad Men, to which he responded that he might pop up soon rather than later. A fun night made even better because it was free.

User latinoheat578 met a TON of celebrities/athletes/wrestlers and sent us a ton of great photos. I put 10 on here, but urge you to click the below link to visit the forum and see the rest of the great photos!

Little long... sorry guys but hope you check this out and enjoy

Rather than post 3-4 different treads I figured I'd post them all in one. Attended a bunch of cool event over the past couple of weeks. Just wanted to share some photos, signatures and experiences where applicable... enjoy

Georges St. Pierre - By far my biggest UFC want. Never met him before. Had found out the morning of that he would be appearing in NYC. Was told he would only be signing store-provided 8x10s and no posed photos. Well had no luck on getting my own item done but he had no problems taking quick over the table photos. that to me meant more than the actual auto.

Devon Gummesall - from My So-Called Life. Loved that show growing up. First attempt had bad lighting. Took a 2nd one later on. I think he was surprised he was even recognized

Chris Rock... who simply refuses to look into a camera... ugh...

            Chris Daughtry
Was able to meet him but his security said he had no time for photos that night, would only be signing. Bummed as Michelle and I were looking forward to getting a pic but optd to get our ticket subs signed

Attened Chiller w/fellow board member.. MISHEDOUT... ahaha... decided makes life easy to both be in the photos to save money.

User Murphy 3 met a ton of people and sent us these awesome photos! Enjoy!

I started off Saturday morning at NASCAR driver Mark Martin's Ford Dealership for Fan Appreciation Day.  He brought in Michael Waltrip to sign autographs.  Mark signed 4 times during the day.  I was there for 3 of them.

Clint Bowyer - He showed up unannounced, so I wasn't prepared for him.

            Mark Martin

            Michael Waltrip

Also, my father went to the race in Talladega this weekend.  He doesn't do a lot of autographs when he goes, but he brought me back a few.

            Danica Patrick

Brad Keselowski, who won the race.

He also went to the Nationwide Series Autograph Session.

Justin Allgaier, Michael Annett, Jason Bowles, TJ Bell, Jeremy Clements, Austin Dillon, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Timmy Hill, Sam Hornish, Johanna Long, Elliott Sadler, Brian Scott, Brad Sweet, and Ryan Truex.

When I finished with the NASCAR guys, I made my way to a wrestling show that was sort of on the way to Dallas.  On the way there, I got a text from my friend that was going to go with me on the trip.  He was in the emergency room with his girlfriend who had somehow broken her leg playing kickball, yes I said kickball, so I would be making the trip by myself.  Sunny was the promoted "name" on the show.  She had been no-showing all of her appearances lately, but I had cards for the two other girls on the show that were on loan from Harley Race's promotion in Missouri, so I decided to go anyway.  Sunny showed up, so I got the in ring photo with Special Guest Referee-suited Sunny and had her sign an old photo op.

I stuck around after the show to get the Missouri girls to sign their cards.  A lot of times it's more satisfying for me to catch up with an obscure name I need than an active member of the WWE roster.

            Miss Natural

            Stacey O'Brien

I didn't need Matt Borne, Chris Cruise, Bobby Eaton, or Ricky Morton.

I drove a little while, got a hotel, then finished the drive to Dallas on Sunday morning.  I'm not a horror fan, but this show had enough mainstream names to get me there.  This was the third and final day of the convention, so I knew people would probably start leaving to catch flights before I could get everyone.  I hit 11 out of my 12 targets.  Only Clint Howard got away.

Ernest Borgnine - As I sat down to take the photo, and he said, "Let's see those eyes."  I tend to wear my hat kind of low, so I pushed it up to a more acceptable level.  He said, "No, no, no, like this" and pushed it to the top of my head.  We took the photo and looked at it.  He said, "See?  That's better, right?" and smacked me in the face.

            Anthony Michael Hall

            James Hamption

            Danielle Harris

Traci Lords - It was her birthday.  Scott Schwartz was there to present her with a cake.

Michael Madsen - He told me I had the same name as his old manager, and they used to get into a lot of trouble together.  He disappeared in Mexico and never came back.

Charlie O'Connell - He was signing for free, which my wallet appreciated.

Rowdy Roddy Piper - He was the main reason I went to this show.  He kept pushing the button on the figure that plays his entrance music and said that it warmed his heart.

Jennifer Runyon - I remember her from Charles in Charge and as the replacement Cindy Brady in the Very Brady Christmas TV movie.

P.J. Soles - She signed my photo op for free, so I bought another photo from her to get signed.

Verne Troyer - My top want at the show besides Piper.  This is going to sound stupid, but he was smaller than I thought he was going to be.

Piper was the only one I really had to wait in line for.  I got there at about 11:30 and was out by 2:00.  I ran into Anthony Burris there.

User HollywoodsGreatest met Dog The Bounty Hunter and sent us this awesome report! Enjoy!

Last Thursday April 26th 2 brothers that are bail bondsmen here in Bakersfield were shot & killed apprehending a fugitive. Almost immediately, Dog the Bounty Hunter got on Twitter asking for leads, & stating he was heading to Bakersfield to help in the search. Luckily the BPD found the killer early Saturday morning, & captured him, but at this point Dog was already in town. What is funny, is I had just been in Hawaii for 10 days in March, & had spent some time at Dog's office trying to meet him. And now that I was home, he was coming to Bakersfield. Saturday it was all over Facebook that he was in town. Photos of him at the BPD, & other places popped up everywhere. I found out thru a friend where he was staying. So went over there Sunday morning, & had breakfast as soon as I got off work. Which was a smart move, as he came in at 720am to get coffee for the road with a producer & camera guy from his show. As they were leaving for LA to fly home. Was a nice guy, when I mentioned I had spent nearly $150 on shirts & other stuff at his gift shop next door to his ofice (was more realistically like $115, but hey so what if I rounded up a bit, lol) he joked, "In that case I;ll gladly take all the photos you want."

User evilgenius sent us these great photos from the Hollywood Show! Enjoy!

Not much in the way of stories. Worked the Green Room door as usual. Saturday was particularly crowded due to The Sound Of Music signing and the Laverne and Shirley reunion. Had some nice, long conversations with Bill Mumy and The Hudson Brothers. Other than that, business as usual.
